My name is Dawn Gardfrey and I am a survivor of the Peoples Temple. I have never been contacted to participate in any of the documentaries that have been produced about Jonestown. I am a little known survivor. I was in Georgetown at the times of the suicides where I lost my mother, two sisters, a brother, two cousins and a host of beautiful people. I was sixteen at the time and I worked on the Jonestown security team where I monitored the CB radio and the comings and goings of everyone entering and exiting Jonestown. Out of all the documentaries I see, no one ever talks about the good things we did, how we entertained the people of Guyana with an extravagant program, or how we adopted many of the native abandoned children of Port Kaituma, in fact my mom had adopted a little boy named Chad. On that fateful night I was the one who witnessed as Sharon Amos slit the throats of her kids and tried to slit the throat of another little girl named Stephanie, in fact I saved Stephanie from getting her neck slit because I called someone to pull her out and Sharon and LeAnn began to slit each others throats. But anyway I would like to get a copy of the documentary since I missed it. A family member saw it and asked me so many questions and I need to see it. So please let me know how I can get a copy, from what I saw on the preview I did see one of my sisters.
